Yes. Wayward Tattoo accepts walk-ins seven days a week during our shop hours.

Walk-ins are first come, first served, so there may be a wait if artists are already working with other clients. You can bring your own design, choose from available flash, or talk with an artist about a custom tattoo. Larger or more complex custom designs may need to be scheduled as an appointment.

The shop minimum is $100.

We are open Monday through Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Yes. Wayward Tattoo artists offer cover-up tattoos as well as scar-concealing tattoos. What is possible depends on the existing tattoo or scar, the condition of the skin, and the artist’s experience and comfort with the project.

For cover-ups and scar-concealing tattoos, an in-person consultation is often the best first step so an artist can look at the area and talk with you about your options.

Tattoo pain varies from person to person and by placement. Some areas of the body may feel more sensitive than others, and everyone experiences tattooing differently. If you need a break, water, or a snack during your appointment, tell your artist. They are used to helping clients stay comfortable and safe.

Wayward Tattoo does not provide numbing cream. If you want to use numbing cream, let your artist know before your appointment so they can tell you whether they are comfortable working with it and share any preferences they may have.

Some people report feeling more sensitive to pain at different points in their menstrual cycle. Experiences vary, so if you know this affects you, you may want to keep it in mind when scheduling your tattoo.

Get a good night’s sleep, stay hydrated, and eat a nutritious meal about one to two hours before your appointment. Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your tattoo, and wear comfortable clothing that gives your artist easy access to the area being tattooed.

You are welcome to bring items that help you feel comfortable, such as a pillow or blanket. The shop has water and snacks, and you can bring your own.

Yes. You can bring someone with you to your tattoo appointment. Please be mindful of the space around the tattoo stations so other clients and artists can move around the shop comfortably.

Follow Wayward’s aftercare instructions for both Tegaderm (Saniderm) and regular bandages. If you have questions while your tattoo is healing, contact your artist.
